Engine

The LS platform has been long proven to be a base that consists of the trifecta of everything you want in engines, reliability, ease of repair and maintenance, and power potential. These three points made it an easy choice for the heart of the General.

Transmission

The 4L65E when built properly can handle a LOT of power thrown at it, and that is what we did, the standard 4L60E when built can handle power as well, but the added 5th planetary gear adds another layer of strength to this transmission. Plenty of strength for the naturally aspirated models

Transfer Case

To us, there really is not even a question of what transfer case to use, Advance Adapters' Atlas 2 is the gold standard and in our opinion the only option. Tried and true design for 30 years this is the strongest option you can get for these applications. The General had no expense spared and we were not going to stop at the transfer case.

Axles

With power, tire size, and off-road capability, we needed robust axles that have stood the test of time and up to our standards, this is where Currie comes in. Ray, Casey, and their team have created some of the best axles on the market and are exactly what the General deserves.

Brakes

With big vehicles needs big stopping power, and these 6 piston front 4 piston rear Wilwood brakes do just that, paired with a hydroboost setup this vehicle will stop as hard as you need to, on and off road

Lockers

Inside the Currie 60 axles lives Eaton E-Lockers front and rear, electric lockers create a more reliable and less congested setup compared to an air locker, doing so maximizes reliability and simplicity to ensure these lockers do there jobs when and where you want them to. Eaton's long history of differential manufacturing and proven track record made this a simple choice.
